The event was held at the College with a railway themes backdrop. Although restrictions still applied, the event was one of the first social gatherings after lockdown and had a key message of hope, love and togetherness which was beautifully conveyed by popular singer Refentse Morake. The models confidently worked each unique look whilst the audience cheered in appreciation. Designer Yihan Lourens-Brönn and partner, Michael Lourens-Brönn as well as special guests Zelda and Theuns Kruger wore bespoke Yihan Brönn Couture. Hoërskool Waterkloof is a public Afrikaans medium co-educational high school situated in the eastern suburbs of Pretoria in the Gauteng province of South Africa. The school hosted a spectacular “Golden Globes” – themed event for the crowning of the 2020 Mr and Miss Waterkloof, held on 6 March 2020. The 20 finalists didn’t disappoint as they took to the runway in Yihan Brönn’s casual range – available at www.shop.yihanbronn.co.za. Yihan’s flair for the unusual was a sight to behold, with many “double-take” moments that emphasized the tag line of Exclusive Designs for Exclusive People. 2020 Mela Shoot SABC 3’s Mela creates a virtual venue for anyone whose heart, mind or imagination is captured by the East. In collaboration with Yihan Bronn Couture, Mela featured an exclusive photoshoot of Rushil Jina showcasing a few of Yihan’s high-end couture garments. At the age of twenty-two, Rushil is completing his law degree whilst running his own non-profit organisation that focuses on providing for the needs of orphaned and homeless children in Johannesburg. As an avid runway and photography model, he entered Mr India South Africa in 2018 and placed as first runner-up. On Saturday, 7 September, Yihan Bronn Casual was launched at the Luxuria Lifestyle South Africa’s Spring In The City event, held in collaboration with BMW Auto Bavaria. Celebs and influencers came out to play on Sunday, 17 November 2019, for the glamorous annual SA Style Awards. Staged on Sandton City’s luxurious Diamond Walk, the awards celebrate and honour individuals across various industries who have not only made a mark in South Africa but have a significant influence on the international stage.
